Plant Doctor helps identify plants and generate care guidance from photos you choose or capture.
Information the App Uses
- Plant photos: Photos you choose or capture are sent to the Plant Doctor analysis service to identify the plant and generate care guidance.
- Saved plant profiles: Saved plants, care notes, watering dates, and scan results are stored locally on your device.
- App settings: The app stores basic settings on your device, such as whether onboarding has been completed.
How Photos Are Used
Plant photos are used only to provide plant identification, care guidance, health notes, toxicity notes, and rescue suggestions. Plant Doctor does not use photos for advertising tracking. Photos are processed to generate your report and are not retained for advertising or sold to third parties.
Third-Party Processing
Plant Doctor sends selected plant photos to a secure analysis service, which forwards them to an AI model provider for analysis. API keys are kept on the server and are not embedded in the app.
Tracking
Plant Doctor does not track users across apps or websites.

Plant Doctor provides helpful guidance, not guaranteed diagnosis, medical advice, veterinary advice, or emergency safety advice. For severe toxicity or safety concerns, contact a qualified professional.
